    Marilyn was the 'oops' baby and youngest of three, growing up during the depression with a CPA father and nurse mother. She grew up mostly in New England moving to where ever her parents could find work. She graduated from Hope High School, Providence RI in 1952. Marilyn worked as a telephone operator until marrying a Navy man in 1954 and following him around the world. Living in Hawaii was one of her dreams come true.
